Pavo
vector converts various vector files, including WMF and PICT,
into EPS for print production workflows. EPS files can inherit problems
from the authoring environment. Key features include:
• conversion of raw PostScript
graphics into EPS
• preview generation,
simplifying problem identification during page make-up
• bounding box cropping,
ensuring image areas are bounded by the extremes of the actual graphic, not
the size of page on which the original sat
• font embedding
• if the source files are
unavailable, predefined font maps are used to help automate this task, with
a provision for manual override.
