Pavo automatically exports graphics embedded within non-graphics applications and standardizes them.
Automation
Pavo automatically extracts embedded graphics from Microsoft Office authoring applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Other proprietary extractions can be built in as required, for example:
- Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Freehand, CorelDraw.
Processing
Processing can be carried out on:
- individual graphics
- single documents
- multiple documents
Output formats
Pavo converts embedded vector files, e.g. charts and graphs, as EPS. Raster files are converted into TIFF. These formats maximize downstream publishing opportunities and are necessary for print production.
File clean-up
Pavo ensures consistency of output using the Pavo vector and Pavo raster standardization processes. These:
- crop white space
- strengthen excessively thin line weights
- embed fonts
- alert on problems with font substitution, colour handling and image resolution
