Merops
mathematica
formulae
In technical documents it is critical that mathematical
terms are presented consistently. Merops mathematica
contains rules to correct for known author discrepancies from standard
convention, and converts between alternative math formats.

Formula citations
|
Merops mathematica
enforces consistent style on the presentation of formula citations and
labels:
See Equation (4 a’) ⇒ See eqn 4a′

Symbols
|
Authors
can be inconsistent when keying symbols and special characters, such as
Greek letters and relational signs. Merops mathematica
uses data tables of inconsistencies to standardize the output:
20+/-12
⇒
20 ± 12

Formatting
|
Merops mathematica
hosts lists of mathematical functions, including trigonometric and
differential terms, that general convention (e.g. the Chicago Manual of
Style) dictates should be displayed in Roman (upright) font:
ln(sin xmax2) ⇒ ln(sin xmax2)
ln(sin xmax2) ⇒ ln(sin xmax2)

Merops mathematica
extra uses import and export filters for MML, MathType and LaTeX.
